WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Owners or lessees of passenger motor vehicles who are residents of the State of Tennessee who are current or former members of the general assembly who have been deemed to have emeritus status, having served 8 or more years in the general assembly.
PERSONALIZATION:
This plate cannot be personalized.
NOTE: Applicant must submit an affidavit stating they are a current or former member of the general assembly who has been deemed to have emeritus status, having served 8 or more years to the general assembly to the county clerk. The plate stock will be sent upon request by a customer through the county.

- The Legislator Emeritus license plate, class 3211, issue year 2019 will no longer be produced.
- Only the senator with emeritus status can register this plate. These plates cannot be purchased by family members.
