Adding a License Plate Back to Inventory

 

Please see below for procedures to follow in the instance a license plate is keyed in error and needs to be added back to inventory:

 

If the error is caught during the transaction - When a plate is removed from a vehicle transaction there is a check box that pops up and asks if the plate should be added back to inventory. If selected the system should add the plate back to inventory and the VTRS status set back to received. 

 

Transaction is completed and the license plate needs to be added back to Inventory - Clerks can still manually add the plate back to inventory. They will be able to see and search for the license plate, however due to the status on VTRS not being changed, the plate cannot be issued. The clerk will need to contact the clerk support team at I3 to update the database to "received". Once the status is set the plate can be issued again.
