DESCRIPTION:
The department has replaced IVTR with a new service called Motor Vehicle Data Services (MVDS). Benefits to MVDS include the ability to have a main user account with the ability to add additional users with their own login information. The main user can approve employees and see detailed billing information. A 30-day search history has also been added.
Towing companies can also sign up for MVDS with the added ability to submit their Abandoned Vehicle requests online now. They will receive an instant NCIC check and be provided owner information back 24/7.
COST:
$2.00 per search regardless of search results.

Motor Vehicle Data system inquiries are governed by the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 2000 (DPPA).
- You will need to submit a copy of your business license and a letter on letterhead stating your use of the information obtained in the program to ensure compliance with the Federal Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).
Please note: IVTR will be active until May 15, 2021 to allow users time to join MVDS.
