NOTE: "ELT" refers to "Electronic Lien and Title" 

NOTE: The below are the only states that require titles to be notarized:

Louisiana

Oklahoma

North Carolina

Ohio

Pennsylvania

Montana

Wyoming

*While Kentucky titles have a space for notarization because the Kentucky notary requirement is for the purposes of tracking sales, not to prevent title fraud The Department will accept Kentucky titles that have not been notarized. 

NOTE:

KY Red Titles have this verbiage at the top: "MAY NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR TITLING IN ALL STATES". They cannot be made road worthy in the state of Tennessee.
